MANAGER INTERNATIONAL TRADE & DATA ANALYTICS
An international Trade Company, having global group headquarter in United Kingdom, and national Head Office in Pakistan, at Lahore, with leading interest and portfolio in the global trade in agricultural commodities and agri-related value-added products, with preferred expertise in exports, is looking for hiring a suitable candidate, against the subject position.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education: Bachelor’s degree, with minimum of 16 years of education, in the Commerce, International Relations, International Finance, or International Business.

Experience:
i. Minimum of 2 years of work experience, in data analytics, food security, agriculture trade, agri-research, international agri-trade and policy.
ii. Previous experience of working with the government agencies related to policy making, regulating, and facilitating agriculture and research sector, in alignment of the scope of position’s portfolio, shall be given preference.
iii. Prior exposure with the policy making, and regulatory frameworks and bodies related to the national tax & tariffs, int. trade, agriculture, and food sectors.
iv. Ongoing engagement and knowledge of modern paradigms and collaborations in international relations, International Law, commerce, finance, and business and trade.

Skill Set Required:
a. Exposure with the modern research tools and techniques for handling the larger data set of international trade.
b. At least two published academic research papers in international political economy, int. trade relations, or strategic economic participations/engagements.
c. Strong command on AI research tools, and analytical skills related to data gathering, treatment, analysis, assortment, and data-driven decision making.
d. Established skills of practicing MS Office, STRATA, ERP, and other contemporary data-analysis and compiling software.
e. Strong and proven communication skills especially content writing, drafting of policy & analysis paper and short-term and long-term scenario papers.

Job Location:
I. The position is based at National Head Office: Lahore, Pakistan. However, translocation on temporary basis to other stations may be possible subject to company’s HR needs or employee’s special circumstances.
II. Foreign travel to negotiate /finalise trade contract possibly to UK, UAE, EU and China, may be required.

Emoluments:
i. Basic Salary: PKR 150,000
ii. Residential Allowance (if availed; on actual basis): up to PKR 75,000
iii. Medical Allowance:
a. PKR 25, 000 per month
b. Indoor hospitalisation will be totally covered / re-imbursed, in any of the A- category hospital on the panel of the company.
iv. Commutation Allowance:
a. Transport Allowance: PKR 40,000.
b. Company-provided vehicle with driver, after termination of probation period.
v. Travelling, boarding & lodging expense, domestic or overseas, shall be paid on actual basis as per company policy.
